(March 11, 1890 - June 28, 1974) American Director of the Office of Scientific Research and Development, he coordinated the activities of some six thousand leading American scientists in the application of science to warfare; he also came up with an idea called the 'memex' which was a forefather to hypertext.

The latest new feature added is WORLD RANKING. You can view your current world ranking (and country ranking) by clicking on the world ranking icon on the right sidebar. My hope is that this feature will make people want to rank high in their own country. It seems to be working. Students are averaging over 35 completed units per day!
I haven't had a lot of time to work on the site lately ;( I've been busy at work and helping my wife take care of our daughter. I have a newfound respect for parents. Being a parent is much harder and more time-consuming than I ever could have imaged.
